I'm a cheapskate, but I don't want to mess up tipping.
Should I tip the private driver from the airport to Red Hook? She's apparently the owner and does agreat job for which she charges a higher fee, which I completely understand.Do you tip above and beyond that? How about the greeter for our villa? I'd be inclined to tip if it weren't for the various "fees" attached to the rental. They said tipping is never expected.

Can i ask what a private taxi such as rachel costs to get to Red hook?

$20 PP although she might be charging $25 if you are 2 or less.

I believe it is something close to this............

$40.00 or $45.00 for 1 person (I can never remember)
$25.00 per person 2-4
$20.00 per person over 4

I always pay the one person rate as it is always just me arriving home late so do check her rates for more that one
