Our stay at the Westin follow up

I just wanted to give an update. I did email the Westin (Starwood Resorts) about our stay and how the service was very "uneven". They did get back to me and told me how they take these things very serious and would look into/resolve the service problems. They did give me 24,000 starwood points as an apology which constitutes as 2 free nights if we choose to go back to the Westin.
So I thought that was a nice gesture even though we're not sure if we'll use the points towards the Westin St. John or perhaps use it towards another hotel.
