I have a ticker!

Mailed the check last week for our cottage for Jan/Feb 2010 trip! YIPPEE! Still need to book airfare. This trip will just be hubby and me and we'll be on island for the Super Bowl.
Who else will be on island from January 30th to February 10th?

How nice to get out of the NE during Jan/Feb mos...
Book that airfare soon, all airlines are raising rates for 2010 and know that pricing for 4/17 (after Easter/Spring break)from JFK is now running @ $600 pp R/T,non-stop.

thank you for the tip! I just called and booked direct from Philly to STT for $375.20 each. I had a $25 travel voucher to use for each of us.

Tipsy, this is our 17th or 18th trip since 2000 - can't wait! I'm sure you'll love it there and you have found the perfect place on this forum for all your questions. I've been tracking this rate on

www.yapta.com and it's been holding steady but I was hoping it would drop but I'm glad you said something today. If it had risen, I would have been kicking myself.

We are staying at Rendevous Cottage - first time and vav gave it a great recommendation. Normally, we stay at Cruz Views this time of year but this was even more affordable so we figured we'd try something new. The owner, James, has been great to work with so far. Found it on vrbo.

Nancy B, Know the feeling @ kicking yourself, when booked our cottage,air price was real good, but we waited to see if get better,next time checked, it had gone up $100 pp ! Booked it but was so annoyed at ourselves. From now on will book asap and then watch for lower rates for credits.
WOW 17/18 trips, that's amazing. But know from this forum that STJ is one special place and we can hardly wait to get there.

We will be on STJ from Jan 21 until February 5. Can't wait, this is our 2nd trip and all we have thought about is getting back there.
