While on Island last week I had the opportunity to check out a villa in Coral Bay that is new to the rental market. I don't think its been reported on the Forum yet, so I wanted to share my findings.
Its called Amarilla Villa and here is the website:
http://www.amarillavilla.com/Amarilla_V ... lcome.html
Since returning home, I've checked out the website and found all the information and pictures there to be very accurate. I'll post the highlights here for anyone that might be searching:
Recently built 3 Bedrooms/3.5 bath
Super easy access road (no 4wd required!)
Pool is heated in the winter!
Great room/kitchen has an excellent layout for groups
2 equal bedrooms to keep people happy
Very few stairs!
180 degree view from Coral Bay to Norman Island
My pictures of the view are not as fabulous as the ones on the website, but I'll amuse myself anyway by posting them.

Thanks Sun4MySoul,
I had came across this villa on VRBO while searching for a family friendly villa. This villa does look wonderful, too bad it doesn't have interior access to bedrooms for those of us traveling with young kids. I can't wait for reviews on it, I am keeping it in mind for future trips when the kids are older or we decide to visit STJ without them!

I also had the opportunity to tour this villa a couple weeks ago... BEAUTIFUL! For those of you who are like me and up at the crack of dawn while on island, you'll understand when I say I would LOVE to see that sunrise view. It has got to be amazing!
This is a very nice house with a lot of charming touches (and I don't mean charming like it's used in the real estate sense, I mean it like "wow, that is so cool they thought of that").
Also, because it's new to the rental market, the rates are very reasonable. With the three bedrooms, a few couples (or pairs of people) could rent this place quite easily.

I can tell by the view that this is just below Easy Breezes, the villa that Bev & Crash rented earlier this year. I'm glad to hear the road is good, because it becomes a 4WD road when you go up further. I think this is a good location, not too far from Shipwreck Landing, but not wayyyy out there, either.

John and I inquired about this house when it was built but it was a private residence back then. So cool that it's on the rental market!

We are the owners of Amarilla Villa. Our villa is located on the first right (Old St. Quacco Rd) past Johnson's Bay, (Not Calabash Boom). The first 200 yards are fairly flat and dirt, but the rest of the road is concrete. 4 wheel not necessary. The bedrooms have 2 queen sized beds and the third bedroom is a double.

Great view from the pool. I like the fact that you can see the road down below.
