Luggage storage on STT?

I'm getting ready to purchase our flights (was hoping for a mid-week price drop) and while the ones I was looking at haven't dropped, the price on an earlier return flight has. We can fly out at either 3:30 or 5:30 on Saturday afternoon. 3:30 works if we just plan to spend the am in STJ and then head to STT when needed to get to the airport or I was thinking we could go on the 5:30 and plan to spend a little time milling around STT before departure - but - what do we do with our luggage? Are there any options for storage or is it just more trouble than it's worth?

If it's not a lot of luggage, most of the cab drivers will hang on to it for you and pick you back up when it's time to head to the airport. Ask them before you get in the cab, they may charge a couple extra bucks but it's worth not to have to worry about them while you explore STT. :-)

On our last trip we took the RH from Cruz Bay and asked the taxi driver that same question. He dropped us at his taxi terminal (about two blocks west of downtown shopping)and stored our luggage there. We were able to explore downtown shops for a couple of hours, walk two blocks to the taxi terminal and pick up our luggage. It cost us only a larger tip to the driver and a tip to the terminal luggage handler. We were able to take the first available taxi from the taxi terminal to the airport and didn't have to worry about having the same driver return in time to take us.
