Hey gang! I'm helping Xislandgirl with the holiday ornament exchange this year, and I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing yet, so please bear with me while I learn this!

If you signed up last time, you're still on the list for this year, if you haven't signed up yet, and you want to, please PM me with your "real name" and e-mail address and I will add you.

The deadline for sign-up is November 30th and the exchange date is December 15th.

Is it possible to move the exchange earlier? I hate having last minutes things to do the week of Christmas.

You're the second person to ask, so I'm putting it out there now....

Would you guys like to move the deadline up to Nov. 15 or 20, and the exchange date to Dec. 1st?

Hi Brenda -

We all sign up on Elfster which manages the exchange for us and draws the names for each of us to exchange with. It's a secret who got your name until your ornament shows up in the mail! It's really neat and a lot of fun! Please join!

Question? Is any type of ornament acceptable or is it "Island" themed?

Since you're helping out, would you please
take my name off for this year's exchange?

I participated last year and bought and mailed
2 ornaments to my elfster recipient but I never
received one from whomever had my name

I don't want someone expecting one from me or
anyone to miss out because my name is on the list.

It's supposed to be island themed. Then everyone posts pictures of their ornament and reveals who sent it to them and we all "ooh and ahh" and laugh and have fun with it.
