We will be flying out of STJ at 5 pm on American on a Tuesday in November....what ferry should we be on? I was thinking the 2 pm? Checking one bag.

The 2pm is the only one - they will not allow you to check a bag under 1 hour before flight time and the 3pm would get you to the airport between 4pm and 4:10pm so too late to fly.

I just risked this on my last trip 3 weeks ago. I had a 9:07am departure and didn't want to be on the 6am boat. I knew the 8:30am departure to Miami would have all cleared by the time I got to the airport if I took the 7am ferry so the 7am it was. Arrived at RH at 7:23am and was in a cab by 7:30am - good to go right as I had 37 mins to get to the airport and know it does not take 37 mins. Well, we sat for 6 mins for the taxi driver (no more passengers as the ferry was empty but who knows what he was doing) and then 1 drop off behind the Post Office and to top it all he was a s l o w driver. Made it to the counter (with no other passengers there) at 8:04am and was told, very sternly, that I needed to be finished with the check in process in 3 mins or I would not be flying (wanted to tell her to stop talking to me so I could concentrate but didn't ) I made it but only just. Would I do it again, only in the am and with Rachel or if I had carry on only
