If you get snow, you're going to get hit real bad.

Just suppose to rain here until Sunday and we'll have 40 mile per hour winds.

God, I hate the thought of winter coming.

I am curious to see if we will see snow. We are going to our cabin for the weekend and it is located in an area that if home sees a dusting, the cabin sees 2 inches.

Minde,

I think it's better to have a storm one week before you depart than one day before you depart. Just hunker down, 'cause STJ soon come!

Have a most excellent trip. Will you be heading over to Tree Lizard at Cinnamon Bay to have dinner with your favorite chef?

Have fun!

Just rain here for us - or so they say.

This is why I love traveling to St. John in the fall - that one last hurrah before having to hibernate for the winter.

On the bright side Minde, the new camera might actually have a "snow" setting

Not that you will feel bad for us, but we went from 80 to 42 in like 18 hours. And, it's raining.

All the outdoor plants had to come in and I'm setting up the greenhouse.

Not snowing, but not really nice either.

Add in a broken washing machine, and 4 overnight guests on Monday and you have the makings of a banner friggin week at Casa Pipanale.

Minde-I think it is us. The first time we went it was right after 9/11. DH lost his license the Friday afternoon before we left St. John. Delta told us it would be up to each gate attendant as to whether he would be allowed to board the plane. Luckily he had another photo ID with him (a ski area season pass, God knows why he had that on St. John, but luckily he did). Three years ago we flew out of Buff just after that freak October ice storm. I was so glad we had booked a Hotel in advance! We leave this Saturday, and there is a storm warning. Good time to get out of town!!

Well at least I don't have to drive in it! Someone called in so I'm working a double and will just stay here overnight. No such thing as a snow day for me.
Lovermont: You betcha we'll be calling on arrival day, to see if Fabian's cooking!
JaySeaDee: We did NOT buy this underwater camera to photograph snow. I've never EVER had a desire to photograph snow! Ice, once...not snow. Good positive thinking, though.
Pip: I do hope your banner frigging week gets better!
Madness: So it's YOUR fault? I'll let ya slide, and would even order a storm so someone could go to St. John. We booked a room the night before, too, just in case. You can never be too careful around here! Have fun :D

They lied  We have some flurries; enough to stick to the top on my car while I ran into Dunkin's for coffee

Minde - one more positive thought for you. The bright floating strap will be easy to find if you drop it in the snow.

St John in 22 days 8)

Pitchers and catchers report in 125 :D

NOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooo!

It snowed in Southern NH, Northshore MA this AM. Actually stuck to the ground in some spots in Rowley & Georgetown.

Worcester is supposed to get @ 2 inches.

Seriously. This is so wrong.
