Anyone stay at Casa Bueno this past summer? Please Help!

You all have been so great helping me narrow this villa search down!
Our family of 4 are planning our first trip to STJ this coming summer and plan to book a villa next week! Casa Bueno is 1 villa we are seriously considering. I have read everything I can find on CB. I am convinced it is a really nice villa inside. It may not have as much water view as I would like, but have read that it has an amazing view!
I am hoping to hear from anyone who stayed at Casa Bueno this past summer that can address a few concerns we have.
I have read about it really being breezy up high on the mountain so was wondering if the pool water is warm enough in June/July?
I have also read that some villas have so much wind that it is almost impossible to sit or eat outside...is this a problem here?
Does the pool deck get much sun?
Any construction going on near by?
Any problems with the water pressure?
Thanks, I truely appreciate any specific help you can give!

jo,
we stayed at casa b late july to 8/2 and throughly enjoyed. did a post on viol with full details sometime mid aug. we loved casa b and her views and this is from someone who has stayed on gifft hill 4 times and upper rockridge twice. there was a lot of wind but was told unusual. not cold, but sometimes had to close huge panel of sliders from deck to great room. did miss deck dining table but understand being addressed. pool deck had sun till late afternoon and water was warm enough to enjoy pool.
very convenient location, maho in under 8 minutes, "downtown" coral bay (crabby's) about same.
while we missed sunsets of west end of island, we'll stay again if has openings for our last minute travels.

Hi papabou,
I have read your trip report and it was very detailed!
Thank you for the additional info about the sun on the pool deck and the pool water being warm enough...I know the kids wouldn't mind how cold the water is, but I'm another story! Wish there was a hot tub!
Thank you, I appreciate your help!

jo, forgot about other 2 questions. plenty of water pressure, elevation no impact since all villas have own water systems. only construction we saw nearby was via binoc over on ajax peak/upper carolina.

We also stayed in early August. We loved it. I know exactly what you're asking about the pool - I'm like you - yep - The pool was warm enough. It wasn't hot but very nice. I would say that my 2 kids (age 13 and 16) enjoyed it.
I thought it was windy - but we enjoyed it. It was very hot in town/beaches and each day we enjoyed the breezes. We enjoyed the outside and it wasn't too windy. There were a few nights we had to shut the windows/sliders because we got a little chilly. Seems silly saying that but ...
We loved it - I can't wait to go back.

Hi hockeymom, Wasn't sure if the pool water would be warm enough for me...it doesn't seem that the pool gets much sun during the day. Yes, I am sure the breezes feel great after all day at the beach, just don't want the book to be blown out of my hand! Thanks! Jo
