Important Poll for all Forumites

It is hard to believe that the holiday season is so quickly approaching.
In past years we have held a tropical ornament swap with the forumites. It has been a nice way to get a little something from our online friends and I know that I have some beautiful ornaments to show for it.
I am happy to organize it again, but thought that people might want to give back something to the people of the island that we love this.
There are many worthwhile charities on the island. The STJ Community Fund, ACC, Guy Benjamin School, Christmas gifts for the kids, etc. If people would like to make a mass donation from the forum, I would be happy to organize that as well, hopefully with some help from the on-island folks.
Please take a minute to answer the poll and let me know how you feel.

Although I have loved seeing the beautiful ornaments some of you have exchanged with each other pictured here, I have not participated and would not be interested this year.
IF... the forum members could AGREE on one charity to which to make a donation, I think it would be a very nice gesture of giving in the holiday spirit. Many of us donate individually, in one way or another, to some St John cause. I like the idea of a collective gift from the VIOL Forum, so I voted for "donate to a charity".

I like the charity idea. I know that we raised a decent amount for a golf tournament a couple of years ago.
Is the toy drive happening again this year? Does anyone know?

I'm sending a bunch of toys again this year (yes, liamsaunt, it's happening again) so for myself, I'd like an ornament exchange.

I loved the ornament exchange but I like the idea of donating to a charity. And while I think there are lots of worthwhile charities and will support whichever we choose, I personally would like to throw The Trust for Public Land's fund to save Maho into the mix.

Let's decide on a charity for those who want to do that and certainly a group could do ornament exchange if they want to do that!

I am going to put up a poll for a charity donation tonight and I am also going to organize a small ornament exchange.
