These are the Dohm family photo albums. The Dohms were the first business in Red Hook Bay, running a water taxi for those who had missed the boat altogether, and offering cold drinks and food to those of us who simply had a looong wait for the next boat... the pictures are not in the best chronological order, but they range from the Dohms first arrival in the 1930's on a small sailboat, through the their return in the late 1940's, on up through the 70's , with the first big development. Some of these photos are also on the St. John Historical Society website, in much better visibility. Try to find the photo of the present round-about construction site circa 1960...

There are several photos of Cruz Bay... very different from today, of course.
