I can't decide about bringing a stoller. I think it might be a good idea to have one so he has somewhere to crash if we are out to dinner and he gets tired. Also where to go to dinner that is kid friendly and has high chairs or somewhere for a 10 month old to sit? We don't plan on going to any fancy resturants, but would like to eat out a couple of times.
Thanks

My thoughts/observations on STJ strollers -
The streets of Cruz Bay aren't stroller friendy, be prepared to push in the street (not ideal) at spots.
You will need to carry it up steps to most restaurants. A few at Lime Inn, many at Morgan's Mango, Banana Deck
Most restaurants don't have a lot of space, especially the casual ones. I can see that being a problem, even if you have one with a very small footprint.
Time of year might make a difference. For example, I doubt you could even push a stroller thru Lime Inn during a high season dinner, the tables are that close together. In the summer, maybe.

We always brought an umbrella stroller as well as a Kelty backpack carrier. We'd use the stroller in the airport and gate-check it for the flight. We did use it in Charlotte Amalie while waiting for the ferry, but didn't use it much on STJ, except in town a couple of times; Kelty was much more useful in most places. We'd fold it up and leave it in the vehicle so it's handy just in case.

Definitely bring a light weight but sturdy stroller. We have the jeep one and love it. Cosco also has some good ones around $35-50. They are great for the airport and customs, also great for sitting at restaurants and also napping on the beach.
