Another New York question

My mom and daughter have a nine hour layover on a Saturday in New York. They want to see a Broadway plan. There is a 2:00 show (Wicked) at the Gershwin Theater. I am overwhelmed when I look for tickets - there are so many sites, etc. Any suggestions? Also, if you have been to the Gershwin please let me know which seats are better. Someone said that the front mezzanine would be better than middle orchestra??? So many decisions!!

Thanks for any guidance!

I always get and recommend mezz. seating. You get to see more up higher. Just saw West Side Story two weeks ago. But I believe it's sold out months in advance.

I would go with the front mezzanine for Wicked. I've been to several musicals/plays in NYC but never at the Gershwin Theater. However I did see Wicked in Chicago a few years back and we had front row center Lodge and it was just a perfect view! If you plan to buy your tickets in NYC don't forget to check out the Ticket Booth in the middle of Times Sq. They give some great rates for same days shows.
