OK guys now I have some great news for dining in St John. First everyone should know that Paradiso has half price apps at the bar till 7 pm.
Now at The Balcony happy hour can be very happy.
There are half price apps from 3:30 till 6:00 and
Cruzan Rum drinks - a whole list of em - 16 oz for $3.00!
And they pack a punch.
Then for dinner they now offer half size entrees for half the price. So all those light eaters, like me,
don't have to pay a fortune for a meal you know you can't finish.
So next time you are on the Island try out these deals.

As I said in a previous post I am a friend of the CEO. He asked me to relay the information to help quell the rumors. I also have new info on Cloe and Bernards that I will post seperatly.
The info is on the up and up and straight from the horse's mouth so to speak.

I really hope all these restaurants make it, but in fairness to other restauranteurs and business owners on the forum, I don't think it is fair to post ads (which this particular post definitely is).
It is fine to dispel rumors or whatever like you have in other posts-to me that is totally different than an ad like this. Is this an "ok" for all the other business owners (or their friends) to post specials?

Only until 7pm at the bar at Paradiso ?? kind of hard to do as they don't open until 6pm and there are only about 10 seats at the bar so if you get there at 6:20pm and all seats are taken (locals do know about this and at the bar is where most of us eat) you will be sol as you can't be in and out in 45 mins to free up the chairs for a next group of customers.
It has been 1/2 prices apps at the bar all night for quite sometime now and before that it was 6pm-8pm - unfortunately they probably just lost my business as we liked to go after a BB get together or after a meeting.
As you know the CEO so well, maybe you can change their minds back to all night especially in this economy.

Cindy - any news from the CEO as to why their website (stjohn-restaurants.com) has now been suspended and they are being asked to "Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible." (quoted from the website)
