I think that if they find the person or persons who did this that they should do the same thing to them...naked.

Connie-
Maybe a good old fashioned 'tarred & feathering' would be appropriate.
Miss you, girl-

Oh my God, that's horrible. I cried too. Don't even open the link, is my advice. Someone in Philly did something awful to an adorable, sweet cat. It's going to be ok, thank God.
I hope they find the f*cktard that did this, and punish him/her sufficiently.

How much do you think they will be fined IF they're found. How much jail time? Probably nothing.

The cat is fine and very very sweet. I work as a volunteer for a local spca and you would not believe the animals that I have handled and what has happened to them and they're still the nicest animals you would ever want to have.

I just think it's disgusting that human beings would do something like that.

Connie - seems like Philly has been having a bad run of crime in the past yr or so. Have they taken action to get a better handle on that?

I read the what it says in the link and I can't even click on it. My cats are like children to me and I volunteer at a shelter and see all the time how animals are mistreated. It's horrible.

Sorry, but I'm not surprised by this.
The people that do this are the same people that molest children, rape their own grandmother (a recent case), and shoot innocent kids in the street.
It's a F****d up world we live in....

That is so cruel. I shudder to think what it was like to pull the tape of that poor kitty.

I wonder if the whack job that did this was abused himself (or herself). It doesn't excuse the behavior of course but it's what is often behind someone's horrible actions. The question is... how to stop the cycle? (I'm all for mandatory birth control until a person proves he/she is emotionally ready to care of a child.) Oops - on my soapbox again.

this type of thing could happen anywhere - but it gives one more reason why i would never find myself living in philthadelphia, or any city for that matter. i need my open space and clean air.

I saw the cat on my lunch break. I'm happy to report that she is adorable and seems very happy. I'm glad that she is out of a bad situation and I know someone will adopt her. I would, but I have my hands full with the 3 I have now.

Hopefully, they will be caught. Somebody knows something.

Probably will be fined about $500.00, maybe some community service, but to me, the damage has been done. Put them on a corner with a sign that says " I abuse animals" and let the good people take care of them.

Philly does have it's problems. I hardly ever go down there. Of course, there's some parts of Philly that are beautiful and then there's the neighborhoods that should just be knocked down and forgotten about.

That is so wrong there aren't words for it.

Dissing Philly for this is a little extreme, I'm sure there's many other things to dis Philly for. LoL!

How did they get the tape off? Poor kitty!

I'm with Teresa Rae on this one in that our cats are like children to us. I just don't get where some people are coming from, but I wish they'd go back to wherever it is!

what a sad excuse for a human being for someone to be so cruel and do that to a harmless kitty! :(
