Can't say I blame him - Kenny has toured heavily for years - really tries to make himself available to his fans. He's made a great fortune, and should take time to enjoy it.

Good thing we went to see him in Orange Beach in August. It was our first time to see him in concert. Great concert, but it was so HOT. (outdoor amphitheather)

Been to every show he has put on in Michigan....even before he became a mega star...and I can't say I blame him for wanting to slow down. His shows are amazing, and I am sure for him exhusting. Hope he chills for awhile in the islands and takes time to just be himself. Life is short, and you never know how much time you or your family has left, so it is best to enjoy it while you can;)

Not bad advice...whatever you're doing, don't miss your life too.

I just returned last night from Indianapolis and saw Kenny's last show. He had several acts in front of him that started at 4:00 pm. He came out on stage at 9:00 and played until about 11:15. It was a great show! Well worth the 8 hour drive (roundtrip) to see him. This is the fourth or fifth time that I have seen Kenny, but it was definitely the furthest that I've ever driven to see him.
Seen him once

Seen him last year! awsome, just didn't get around to it this year. From what I can tell he sure seems like a real down to earth kind of guy. I only wish him the best cause life isssssssss to short and you never know what day is your last. My pastor friend would always say " you never see a Uhall behind a hurse. So spend and enjoy while you can or someone else will when your gone"

Think that's a good idea for the boy. He needs to recharge, can't burn the candle at both ends forever.Needs to get down to the islands for an extended stay and chillax for a good long time. Maybe find him a little islandgirl and enjoy the island life for awhile.

I am thrilled that he decided to take a break. Life is definitely too short! His shows are amazing. I saw him open for George in '99, and haven't missed a year yet. I hear he still plans to do a few shows next year, but just not the huge summer tour.
Even if I have to travel a long way, I will make it to at least one show in '10. This year we drove 11 hours to Dallas TWICE. We were there for the huge rain storm and then again two weeks later for the free performance. It was an AMAZING experience both times...especially since the 2nd show we were right by the stage. AWESOME performer and singer, and seems like an equally awesome guy.
Enjoy the time off, Kenny. Have fun in the sun with your toes in the sand. We look forward to you coming back happy, tanned and better than ever!!!

...and in case anyone is counting...YES, that is 44 hours total driving time!!! I do LOVE him, and it was totally worth it.
