Shipwreck Closing Date Change

Just want to let anyone on island next week know that Shipwreck has changed the closing date listed with Ruth from 9/6 to 9/5. Taking all our hard working staff out to have someone else cook and serve them instead. Hope to see you all next season when we reopen 11/10

Does this mean open again Oct 11 or Nov 10? We are there the first week in November, and I would be so disappointed if it's closed. Had a great lunch there last year that week and we plan to do that again.

Yes, I believe it is the US date format - November 10th.
We sure did have a great lunch there last November.

This will be the first time in 17 years that I won't be able to have a great meal at Shipwreck Lanking.
Have a great vacation. We'll have to wait until June.

Hey Pat,
That's so sweet to take your staff out & have someone else serve them as they work so hard the rest of the time serving others! I'm sad we won't be able to eat there the first week of November but we'll catch you again in May 2010! Love this place!

Sorry to disappoint but we are staying closed an extra week because our bartender, Bryan which many of you know is getting married on Nov 8th and the reception of course is at Shipwreck. If anyone is around the end of October or first week in November, come on in and say hi as we will be there painting and varnishing. The beer
should be cold by then!
