Remote wave-measuring buoys

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? There are some buoys near the USVI that transmit wave activity information. There were /are two sites where you can find the info. Would someone please give me the url(s)?

You can find the 3 closest ocean buoys at :
www.weathercarib.com
they are S - N and E in the order they appear on that site and easily located by lat/lon as well.

Just as an aside those 3 buoys are well worth saving in bookmarks/// faves. IF you find VI weather a daily info need.

I have tried to figure where those three buoys you mentioned are located...where is #41044?
also wondered how the North Shore waves looked today...

According to the buoy map at NOAA, it appears that 41043 is about 175 miles north of the BVI's and 41044 about 400 miles east north east of 41043 if I'm reading the legend right.[/u]
