The initial picture looks worse than the track. Man, all those islands look so tiny in comparison to the size of the storm. Quite scary for all in it's path.

Keeping and eye on this one for us Northeasterners!
Just heard from State Farm that they are canceling the homeowners policy becasue we live "near the water" which to them includes 1/2 a mile away and about 200 feet above. In a sick way I almost hope for the opportunity to put in a claim just to stick it to them! But Im just being petty!

I just hope he keeps going north and turns towards the east real soon. This storm is making me nervous being on the East Coast!

My understanding from stormcarib.com is that this storm is not expected to make landfall on the mainland if it stays on its current track, which of course is what we believe it will do.
