I had a slight accident with the rental car on STJ in June. I just backed into a small tree.
Anyway, the trip insurance covered the whole bill, no deductible. I was so happy since I had waived the insurance that you can buy with the car rental company. It wasn't expensive either.

That is good news. We always get trip insurance but luckily have not had to make a claim. Can I ask what company you went with and what plan you had?

Glad to hear not too much damage (to the car or your wallet or you!)

I'll miss our parking adventures this year. Maybe, I'll have to finally get behind the wheel myself.
