Hey Gang,
Third day in paradise...my daughter and I (DH still sleeping) were blessed with two images which must have been painted by God's paint brush. We saw the full moon setting over the mountains while the sun was rising out of the sea. Magnificent...Mia

Mia,
Funny that you sent this post out.
Late last night, as I looked out my window at a sugar coating of fresh snow & seeing the full moon's light illuminating the trees - I said to myself, someone is on St. John now - enjoying this glorious full moon in a much different setting.
Guess it was you!!
Enjoy your trip!

Sounds beautiful! We had a nice moon last night, but no one was brave enough to go outside to look at it!
It's 5 degrees right now and the wind is blowing so hard that I swear that one of my grills just flew across the yard! I'm sure the Wisconsin gang has it even colder, so enjoy paradise while you can!

I noticed the full moon last night too, here in freezing Iowa, and mentioned that I wished I were seeing it in St. John!

Was it a Sear gas grill?

It's mine!
I just checked the current temp. It's now 3 and the high for tomorrow is 2. It's supposed to get to -10 overnight tomorrow night around here. I just keep telling myself that in less than 7 weeks I'll be snorkeling in clear, warm water, not chasing sharks!

Mia,
Just think, you could be in these sub zero temperatures...but, you are not. Enjoy your vacation and keep your eyes open for all of the rainbows, moonsets, sunrises and beauty of the islands.
It's so dang cold here even the ice fishermen have packed it in and gone home. Looks like the sahara out there on our lake. Snow blowing across it, no one to be seen. What is the temp? Right now, it's MINUS 4.5 and the sun just went down. Time to throw another log on the fire.
I think I just saw a grill fly across the lake but I'm not going out there to retrieve it!
April can't come soon enough.

Hee hee!
If you find it, hang onto it for the summer gathering!
My wife came home with all the ingredients for Painkillers, so we're toasting you, Mia, and wishing we were sitting at Foxy's!

Great! We'll pick it up in a few weeks!
BTW... Painkillers are pretty good, even at home!
