Larry is the caretaker at Denis. The current holder of the retained estate agreement with the National Park is S. Donald Sussman--who is apparently not ever going to do anything with the property, since the historic ruins of the sugar factory and the slave village along the beach leave little room for development.

Thank you Hugo, that's the imfo I was looking for.
For some reason the Sussman name is ringing a bell. is he the guy that bought or tried to buy the land by Maho ?

Hey Parafins,
Larry Lipsky is a talented artist. We bought one of his sculptures from the Bajo el Sol Gallery in Mongoose Junction a couple of years ago. I had to look this up again, but he calls his hanging scupltures "Geo-kinetic sculpture" a knuckle head like me calls them "really neat mobiles".
My wife and daughter love looking for and collecting sea glass and Lipsky incorporates sea glass into his pieces. Our Geo-kinetic fish sculpture hangs in a breezy sunroom which keeps the piece moving and between the hand pounded copper and green and blue glass it's colors jump out at you when you enter the room.
Take care,
Budman

No, Kirk, as far as I know Sussman didn't try to buy Maho. His name came up here awhile ago in connection to his very large, and very long-term ,construction site on Blasbleg Point---Great Cruz side of Maria Bluff.
thanks...
