to get to lameshur follow 107 past salt pond to the endof the road--keep going on the dirt road (it gets paved again and then unpaved) the first bay you come to is big lameshur the second (just after the Yawzi point trail) is little lameshur.
and yes, tektite is way out on the left side of big lameshur

I was intrigued after reading Liamsaunt's TR. There is a good description here

I would suggest not doing Tektite in the heat of the afternoon like we did a couple years ago. The "rock scramble" as it is called to get out to the snorkel site is a hot little adventure in itself.

My recommendation is to skip the rock scramble entirely and just swim from the beach at Great Lameshur. We saw so many interesting things on the swim from GL to Donkey Bight. The rock scramble is a pain in the butt.

I have to say I agree with liamsaunt on skipping the rock scramble. We didn't listen to her and did the rock scramble/bouldering on the way out to Donkey Bite before getting in the water. On the way back, we did snorkeled the whole way and wished we had done that both ways...much easier!

How far (and how long does it take-approx) of a snorkel is it from Great Lameshur?
