Hubbie must have been missing STJ today as he brought home coconut and pineapple Cruzan. Does anyone have drink recipes using one or both of these flavors? The more islandy (is that a word??) the better, but we are open to all ideas. Can't wait to start the weekend tomorrow!

I keep it simple -
cruzan coconut and pineapple juice.

Cruzan coconut, Diet Coke (I suppose regular would be ok) and a quarter of a lime, juice squeezed into the glass and then the lime dropped in. Delish!!!

Painkillers made with flavored rum are awesome! I always make painkillers with one shot of Cruzan Coconut and one shot of Cruzan Mango. Yummmm!

Here's my suggestion

Just think of Forrest Gump:
Rum & Coke
Rum and Coco Lopez/Pineapple Juice/OJ
Rum & Mountain Dew
Rum & Jello
You get the idea...

You don't need a mixer! Pour it over ice and drink!!!

I had a sample of that pineapple at the airport and agree with Bev- on the rocks would be awesome!

I bought a bottle of Cruzan Mango on our last trip down, prompted by the sample shot at the airport.
It's great all by it's self.
But I happened to be in a place a month or so ago where there was a Mano Mojito on the menu that used the Cruzan Mango as it's main ingredient - very tasty.
When I got home I bought and planted a mint bush, and the leaves look like they're ready for harvesting - so I plan to try and perfect the recipe this weekend!

We are know a woman from St. Croix who lives up the road from us. She is a close friend of my aunt and when she comes to our house for holidays, she askes for coconut rum and cranberry juice. So simple!

I ordered a rum punch at the Beach Bar. It was really good and I had a second one and wondered why I was so "happy". My daughter told me that they used all different flavored rums and splashed the top with grenadine.
So I suppose you could do 1 part each of mango, guava, pineapple, banana and orange (or whatever flavors) and splash with grenadine and you have a RUM punch!
My favorite is the guava and I can't find it close to here.
