I lost my Son

I just want to start by saying I LOVE this forum. I am on every day, I'm mostly a lurker. I feel like I know all of you.
On Monday I lost my son, he committed suicide, he was 20 years old. He leaves behind his daughter who is 17 months old. I am in total shock ( I can't even cry ).
Tomorrow is the funeral and I know that is when I'm going to lose it. Please say a pray for my son Bernie.

I am so very sorry for your loss Mary. I have only one child - a 19 year old son - and I can only imagine the shock and pain you and your family must be experiencing.

Mary, I hope that it helps to know that there are many people here that are sending prayers, hugs and love your way. May God give you the strength to get through this very painful time. How greatful you must be to have your little granddaughter. You will always have a piece of your son in her. I pray that your memories of him and the joy of having her helps you through the coming days and weeks. Hugs and God bless.

I can't even begin to understand what you are going through. I have a teenage daughter and I don't know how I would cope if something like this happened to her. God Bless you. Talk to us on the forum if that helps you.
