The link is working just fine. Great pictures. Looks like you all had a blast - maybe a fuzzy blast, but, none the less a blast.

I tried to look for the properties of the picture in shutterfly and it won't let you see them so that is probably the problem. Try posting them to another free online site like flickr. Flickr is the one I am most familiar with and once your pic is posted you can right click the picture and go to PROPERTIES to get a link that looks something like this

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2666/367 ... 1246410575

From there you drop everything after .jpg for just this:

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2666/367 ... bdb6b6.jpg

and wrap it with

so Image

I left spaces intentionally to show you the code you'll want to delete them to get

Thanks FF
I can embed a slide show, but not a single picture from shutterfly. I used them to do a picture book, so was hoping I could do trip report with pictures from there. Guess I'll have to use a different service like Flickr.
Trip report for June 11-23 to come, just slow getting it together.
Anyway, here is the picture book. Enjoy. RT

Shutterfly doesn't provide the codes to post the single pictures.

I use Photobucket for forum pics; it provides the full IMG code, so you just have to cut and paste into your text.

RT,

I was able to view all the Shutterfly pictures -- very nice. I liked the Shutterfly book also. Have you received it yet? How long did it take to get it? I'm seriously thinking of doing one. Any tips?

Thanks!

Nice RT. I've used Shutterfly and others.
www.mypublisher.com had particularly good print quality on heavy stock.

Teragram,
Just received the shutterfly book yesterday. I ordered on July 3 and received on the 9th, so very quick. The book came out really good, so I highly recommend it. Much better than the old plastic sleeves, more compact and will last.My book was 47 pages + front & back cover and had 159 pictures and the cost was $95 delivered. Its easy to sign up, so you could try just a few pictures to see how it works which has many features. The only problem I noticed is the larger picture formats(like 4 to a page) don't lay out like your pictures which are 4x6, instead they are square (5.75x5.75)so some of your picture will be cropped off. But you can control how it is cropped or select a different layout. Also if you select a format with narrative, the picture sizes on that page are smaller. Hope this helps, let me know if you have other questions.

Back to the original topic: I selected photobucket to upload pictures to post. photobucket gives you 10,000 photos or 1gb free where, flickr only gives you 350mb per month. Here's my first post

RT,

Thanks for the tips on the book. Less than a week is a great turnaround, especially with a holiday in the middle. I've ordered from Shutterfly before and get discounts and promotions, so now I need to take advantage of the savings and do a book.
