How do you get rid of moles?

They are killing my lawn
I heard that if you get rid of the grubs that they will go away, is that a reasonable treatment? I had no idea that we had grubs, the lawn has looked great all summer.

are you sure it's not skunks ? skunks love to eat grubs --

they are a bear--we had to replace our entire lawn

Grubs live in the lawn and don't drink beer you are thinking of Slugs. As far as the Mole situation the only real way is the guilotine traps. Moles eat worms too so getting rid of just grubs won't work. I know I've had moles for about 3 years now and just gave up.

Are they moles or voles? Two different critters. Call your local pest control company..They can put traps, etc out. We have voles and they eat the shallow roots of plants.

I think you should check with Ruth's neighbor. He sounds likes he handling the chickens and roosters quite well. He might just be your go to guy.....

Actually I was looking for a youtube on it and found this pretty cute video (which when I first saw the headline I thought was going to be animal abuse!) but it's actually pretty funny if you like kittens and know how they act.....

This will not sound politically correct, but at our last house we had them, they come out of the woods, we were told to use diazanon to kill what they eat. Not sure you can even buy this any more. Spreading it a couple of times a season with a fertilizer spreader did the trick. Again not what everyone wants to hear.
