Hi again everyone have still been on the forum but took a break for awhile on looking at villas for next July (hopefully). We still have a few we are interested in (Coral Bay area) but just saw these two and wondering how the location and villas are for a family of four. Again, our kids will be 12 or 13 (July birthday son) and 9 year old daughter. They both have pools and hot tubs which look great. We were just in Annapolis, Md. and ate at Pusser's which is where we had the Painkillers (great drink) so now am ready to go.

I just stayed at Summer Wind with family (5 adults and 1 4-year old). I HIGHLY recommend it for a family. My mom was there too and posts more often here (Diana2) so she can give more details than I have time for. I can't say enough good things about the place. Super location, super accommodations, super everything. You will not be disappointed.

Check your private messages - I sent you one.

I stayed at Summer Wind when it was called Casa Phillips and was brand-new. I wrote a review on this site.... sounds like it's still a great place!

Thanks - I see that they have two separate buildings. I am guessing bedrooms in one building and living area in other building?

Summerwind is indeed to buildings. The greatroom is on the top level along with the pool and hot tub. Down 1/2 flight of stairs is the HUGE (king) masterbedroom and bath with indoor and an outdoor shower.

Another 1/2 flight of stairs down brings you to the bedroom which is under the greatroom. This bedroom is small and has a double bed and a small bath. No closet. The laundry facility is behind this bedroom. We used this bed to fold clothes on only. It would be OK for a kid but I wouldn't want it to be my bedroom.

Another 1/2 flight of stairs down brings you to the two bedrooms (kings) that are under the masterbedroom. These two bedrooms are nice sized with very nice closet space and bathrooms with lots of shelf space for storage too.

The location is great and the road is paved and an easy driveway with no steep inclines. This house is a good value and views over Coral Bay and down the island chain are fabulous.
