USVI-On-Line

I just got my phone bill from when we stayed in STJ in May and was pleasantly surprised that we were only charged 75c per minute for the calls that we made from Cruz Bay and Cinnamon Bay. Also, we were not charged extra for text messages since we have unlimited texting in our plan. We didn't try to call or text from the East End since we weren't sure of rates for the BVI and that was the signal we got. We were quoted a rate of $1.99 per minute from Verizon before we went but that didn't materialize. YAY!

That is good to know. We called verizon about it and were quoted the $1.99/minute as well. We have unlimited texting, but they did say it would cost 10 or 20 cents a text for the tower connection or something like that. My wife called and something maybe be lost in the translation.

I haven't got the bill from Verizon yet...but last week when I was on STJ I would get text messages when I was roaming to the BVI. Which was nice, but I wouldn't know for sure when I was back to USVI air space...Hopefully Caneel was USVI!
