If there has been a lot of info posted about this boat, I can't seem to find it. I never have any luck with the search function. I'm sure it can't be me. Anyway, I'm interested in any details about this boat I can find.

Hi Cyp.
I've been on her it was a great day took us to some out of the way snorkle spots to time with the ones that didn't snorkle to make them feel at ease they even pulled a big lobster out and made it up to go with our lunch.

I think Lulu 76and her gang went out on Breath last November. You could PM her if she doesn't chime in.

We'll probably book with them in November since they leave out of Coral Bay.

funny that you posted this...we are in Coral Bay right now and I have passed by Sail Breath several times and everytime it is closed up. Now, that could be par for the course for the island...but I am not 100% sure it is up and running right now. The building is all boarded up???

Thanks Tom! I did a sail out of Coral Bay several years ago on White Wing and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. We need a boat that holds 9 for SOTB, and we're looking for something that is reasonable and is bigger than a 6 pak. Is Breath in good shape? I know she has a lot of interesting history.

I was on STJ last week and noticed the same thing. I spoke to the wife this morning, and she is interested in booking for the first part of Nov., so I don't know what's up with that. She said they take the boat out of the water for a week or 10 days for painting and any repairs and Coast Guard inspections the later part of Oct. I don't know why she would not be sailing now. Maybe someone else can chime in.

I have never seen Breath that she wasn't in top shape - wouldn't really worry about that - I am sure you can just give Peter --- 693-5257 or Jared ------ 779-2801 a call about sailing on her.

I was on the Breath for a daysail this past November. We left from the harbor by Skinny Legs, sailed past East End and around to Newfound Bay where we snorkeled to our heart's content. The mate even picked us up in the dinghy after we had drifted down the coastline quite aways.

After having lunch we went to Flanagan Island for more snorkeling before sailing back to Coral Bay.

Augie, that sounds like what we did with White Wing. It was the best snorkel of my life....a bit scary for me at times, but that was my first giant spotted eagle ray. What a sight, coming up from the depths, like a rising Phoenix. I'll never forget it. Such a great way to spend Christmas Eve. I want to get Peter's book. I've heard it's full of great tales on the ocean.

She was in great shape she has to meet tougher standards then the boats that take only six out the history is great I have an autographed copy if you would want to read it but I'd need it back.

Yes Peter is sick but they have a great Capt. and firstmate that take her out. The dogs are skipper keys great little dogs that don't want you to go into the water but once you are in they snorkle with you.

I got an email from Jared - they are sailing in November.

BREATH IS TOTALLY IN BUSINESS. We are available for charter any day. I hope to haul out in early November, but we generally schedule that around the charters that we have booked in advance by then. Our Breath booth by the old pickles is simply a billboard, but I can see how it might look confusing. I will move that way from the building, thanks to everyones input. Can you imagine us needing 1800 sq ft to run a charter business? Maybe one day we will be as big of an operation as the hotel boats, but I doubt it, and kind of hope not. For now we will frolick in the "best kept secret" category. Peter does still sail occasionally, but unfortunately his health has prevented him from renewing his captains license. We have two captains currently; Colin, from Alaska, an incredible sailor and true friendly pirate, and myself, Jared. I have been driving Breath for the last 10 years, and brought Colin on about 8 years ago. We strive to create a true classic sailing experience, coupled with pristine snorkeling in places that most boats don't go to.
