Coral Bay corner gets cleansed

From News of St John, apparently the Moravian church believes that the corner of 10 and 107 in Coral Bay is a hazard and is going to have the signage tidied up. I don't know about the rest of you, but I have always enjoyed the sight of that corner when I first arrive in Coral Bay. Of all the changes on Island in the recent years, for some reason, I find this the most disturbing.
I know I come from VT where billboards have been banned for the last 20 or 30 years and nondescript homogenized state signage is the norm but that colorful corner with the Skinny's bench with the sneakers on the legs is symbolic of the Island. It will be akin to tearing down a historical site. Sad, sad, sad.
