Trip report 3
Well today we are going to beach it we want. Some thing close to the road and easy to get to So we are off to Maho. Find front row parking. Now I hear where we parked is a no parking zone we didn’t have any problems though. No body wanted to walk down the beach so we set up in front of the old building.

The water was a little cloudy But the snorkeling was relaxing. Tried to get every one to try it because tomorrow we will be on our trip to the BVI’s It’s easier to teach people when they can stand up and don’t have to jump off of a boat.

After a day of limin on the beach we have to head back. After cleaning up I come out on the deck to find Paul with tears in his eye’s thinking about his mother. At that time a big igunna comes out the brush and I say look at that igunna he breaks out laughing so from that point on if either of us is down and teary eyed we just mention the igunna and the other knows that all is ok.

I’m preparing a special Dinner for all 12 at Allesandra tonight. The menu is 2 inch thick aged ribeyes roasted vegetables Josphine’s salad greens. There was suppose to be fresh Key lime pie from the tree in front of Cygnus but we stayed at the beach to long. Have a few drinks snacks and watch the sunset.

After a great meal and good wine with friends and views of the lights of STT we hot tub it and watch the stars and talk of old times.

The sunset that night wasn’t great so here is a couple of sunsets that I took off the same deck last May.

Tom,

We are enjoying the photos. Looks like you had a great trip even with the sad duty you needed to perform. That is special.

We are 5 and counting, with the below zero nights we are experiencing now, we are going to enjoy St John for two weeks.

Have a good day.

Thanks for the reports and pictures, Tom! I like the inline thumbnails for the pics.

What kind of fish is that in the picture from Maho? It almost looks like a trout, but I know it isn't. Based on my handy-dandy fish card (yes, it is next to me even though I am thousands of miles from STJ  ) it looks like it could be a Cero, but I've never seen one before.
