Have not stayed there. However, we did snorkel in front of it the other day and we saw a beautiful spotted eagle ray and other cool sea creatures. They have their own little beach. Looks like a nice place out on east end.

nancy,

we have been fans of the cloud 9 folks for several yrs and have stayed in one of their villas for 7 of 10 trips with last stay at c9 on gifft hill feb 08. found villas always well equipped and supplied, clean and great values for our "last minute travel" with their discounts. there villas are not luxury just comfortable and livable, but pebbles was always their high end unit and the owners primary residence with rental during summers only until recently.

never stayed at pebbles but toured in dec 07 while owners in residence. she's very open with wonderful water view greatroom/kitchen and bedrooms fully separated and private but lower level br is spartan with unusal open air bath and wc with view of shipwreck landing! steps are steep down to water, but once you are down to water's edge, coral bay is yours. bride says it's too far out for her, but still consider each time i do a guy trip. plan would be to rent a kayak from crabby's for the trip and do all coral bay remote snorkles including mangroves in hurricane hole.

while it's not on "review" section, someone recently posted a critical review re maintenance and condition. i have noted that c9 and sundance are also getting long in the tooth and need a little tlc. i believe owners maybe are residing back in states (versus living at pebbles and in states during summers only while their daughters were out of school).

last i heard marcy (was appel but now married)still manager and she's very competent, helpful & honest. if you are interested, call and talk to her.

perhaps my reference to a critical review of pebbles was an overkill. i did a search and couldn't find onviol so a checked TA vi board and found the post i was referring to. not as critical as i recalled. here's full comment from an april post:

"Has anyone stayed at Seascape on St. John's East End? Just returned from one week at Pebble Cove (great location, private beach, but definitely worn and layout not advisable for small children). I think Seascape may be the villa with the red roof at the end of East End. Looks like an excellent location. Already planning for next year."

i'm a big c9 fan and begin trip planning by checking availability of their villas. i have noted some minor items in prior stays, all appearance, none functional. but still pleased and found good value and never surprised or disappointed. just trying to post info i know or thought i saw. perhaps at 65 "me memory fails me".
