After our last trip in May, we have decided that we prefer the laid back side of the island and want to stay in Coral Bay next year. So, the villa search has begun.....
For all of you Coral Bay lovers, what is your favorite villa? There are only 2 of us and we do want a pool, a/c, privacy, and a manageable driveway. Thanks!

We like Memory Daze and Pink Horses. Also stayed at Sea Wing which was very affordable, though I am not sure if it is on the rental market anymore. I also hear good things about St. John Livin and Islands Dreams.

We loved St John Livin. It has all you're asking for and more.

Here's my review from this April

I loved Windward Side Main House, we stayed there on our first trip in 2006. We rented it directly from the owner, Susan, she was very helpful and easy to deal with. The house is on Calabash Boom, it does not have a pool, but it does have a hot tub. It does not have AC, but the breezes and ceiling fans were fine, actually sometimes a little cool in the evening. I have really great memories from that trip, it was our first and the beginning of a great romance with a rock (hey, marketing - pet rock - romantic rock? Ok, time for a cocktail)

Summerwind isn't in Coral Bay but rather up on Bordeaux Mtn. Check it out. The location can't be beat and the driveway is no problem.

ok so I admit to being a dope about locations. what does bordeaux mountain mean? does that mean you go up that road by the overlook area?
please don't mock me

We stayed at St.John Livin and loved it. It is in the same area as others mentioned... Pink Horses, Memory Daze, Island Dreams. They are all there together. Beautiful views! I would definitely stay there again.
