My wife and I are visiting St. John in early December. We plan to stay on Cruz Views. Can anyone give us recent feedback on this complex?

Great place nuthin fancy but does the job fine. Great views,landscaping,pool,can't be beat for the price.

We've been 5 times and coming back at thanksgiving!

Nice location, great view and great price.

Hubby and I are also thinking about CruzViews for 2010.Those of you that have stayed there what is your favorite unit and why?? Our 1st choice was #7 but it is already booked.Thanks

Stayed in unit #7 this past April. Took advantage of an off-season rate special - thought it was a great deal for the money. The location is great, unit was well equipped, everything was in good condition, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the view is killer! Definitely recommend!

Resident cross eyed cat, Sam is super cool. I have stayed in 7 and 10 and both are great units. Do you have any specific questions?

Great views are definitely our 1st priority. With that
being said, I believe someone mentioned they prefered
the units above the pool. Rick, was that you? So, that
would be unit #1 or #4. Has anyone stayed at either of
these? Opinions??

We stayed in #1 several time ... I like it, because it's very private. Like having your own villa, but the pool is a little walk. We stayed in #2 last year and will be there again in November. Liked being closer to the pool ... still great view from the deck and cross breezes. #3 & #4 also look nice - above the pool (good views) and close to the pool.

We stayed at Cruz Views in April. I agree with what everyone else has said - this place is not fancy, but it's the best deal on the island. If you are a pampered person and will be put off if a patio chair has some rust on it or if the fridge has a few dents in it, CV is not for you. But, if you are looking for an affordable, clean, comfortable, convenient, air-conditioned place with a good view, this is as good as it gets on St. John.

I stayed in #2. The units at the ends of the buildings are nice because the deck is larger. We stayed right above the pool, and frankly I'd wished we were below it for privacy's sake. When people were at the pool you had no privacy on your balcony.

I'd stay there again in a minute.

We stayed in #7, which is below the pool, and loved it. It was very clean, comfortable, and private! We would definetly stay there again.
