What Happened to the Alternate?

I noticed that everyone has been meeting at the BB still. Last I heard, the BB was falling in bad favor with the forum and an alternate meeting place was being decided on. The July 11 meeting is coming up pretty soon, so, do we do BB or ????.

Why is the Beach Bar falling out of favor? It rocks! Great drinks, food, bartenders and location. No reason to change that I could see.

Nancy, there had been some discussion a few weeks ago about poor service, poor food quality, not staffing properly when they knew that a large (forumites) crowd was going to be on hand.
Maybe that has changed now, but I was just wondering about the situation. I like the BB, but I know how trying it can be on Jazz Sundays especially if the forumites gather at that time.

If we get there on the 21st and have issues I'm not gonna have a problem with picking up and taking afew folks over to High Tide.
We'll report how the BB goes on the 21st.

Look forward to your reports. We stopped in High Tide for a drink with the gang. It was fine but it's not the same feel to me as the Beach Bar. It's getting to be low season so I wouldn't be surprised if some find the service not the same. I just get on island time and learn to go to the bar before I really need a drink - no worries
