cat update

So many ofyou posted kind words when i came home and found my very elderly cat very sick she had had a stroke--I wanted to let you know that after two weeks of R and R (where she was unable to walk and needed assistance to eat and drink and had to be washed pretty much twice daily) she got UP. she stood, she fell over, then she got up and walked a step--she is still really wonky, but can actually make it up and down stairs--she will never be 100 percent (and she's pretty much stopped 'talking') but she is with us and seems happy--a true miracle. Now, if i could just figure out how to afford a new ticker......life would be perfect

loria, my heart is so happy for you; thank you for letting the forum know the news. Each day I wondered and thought of your cat and your family. Your diligent care and love came through for Spinny...again. Wonderful!!!
Good luck on that ticker...I'm wishing for one too!

Cats are so amazing. I had one actually fully recover from feline leukemia, many years ago. I'm so happy for you and your kitty. I'd rather have my kitty alive and happy than a ticker (but it's close...
)
