Car Pooling Next Monday?

We are arriving next Monday afternoon (6/15) on the Delta flight from Atlanta at 2 pm. In fact one week from right now we should be stowing our tray tables and placing our seat backs in their most upright and uncomfortable positions. Is anyone else arriving on that flight or around that time that want's to share a private taxi?
I was reading the other thread on the topic and wondered if there was someone else who would like to share a ride.
I would much rather do that than jam into the standard taxi and make 15 stops before the RH ferry terminal. For me, that's a real buzz killer.

If I were you, I would take the 3pm CA ferry if you arrive at 2pm, arriving on STJ by 3:40pm (sometimes 3:30pm
) just check with the taxi driver that it is running.
Depending on traffic it could be tight making the 3pm RH even with a private taxi and if you are checking luggage, it is doubtful you would make the 3pm RH even with a private taxi, so that means the 4pm RH arriving at 4:20pm
Something to think about

They have never made any stops on my taxi (big overfilled vans) from the airport to Redhook. I have done the trip 5 times including just last week. Maybe I just got lucky. I was also on that same Delta flight from Atlanta.

We are checking bags. I had pretty much given up on catching a 3:00 ferry. I guess I'm getting on Island Time already. As I said we are flying on Delta. Everyone know what DELTA stands for:
Don't
Expect
Luggage
To
Arrive

You will probably make the 3pm CA as long as you are in the taxi by 2:40pm

I was on that same Delta Flight Wednesday May 27th and I actually made the 3pm ferry from Redhook. When I got there, it was just about to leave. I rushed up and got on. So, it will be real close. You may try Pia's idea of taking the other ferry. I was traveling with my a family memeber that very easily gets sea sick, so I could not do that.

MBW, if you meet us in ATL we can make this work.
John, thanks for that update. I prefer the CA ferry. I'm just not willing to "OJ" through the airport on my vacation to make an earlier boat.

I do that every day for work.
If I can make it, I will. If not, it's off the RH where it's Miller time.

Just one more warning then: For some reason, they will NOT let you bring your drink on the boat. My wife ordered a fresh drink for the trip and they made her toss it out first. Oh well, Cruz Bay was just 15 minutes away.
