Inspiration for First Timers

I am tying to inspire my children (3 20-somethings who are also first timers) to enjoy St John as much as my wife and I currently do. A hokey method I have stumbled on is to provide a daily countdown calendar with a picture theme. As an example here is a picture I sent last week:

I am also trying to encourage some sibling rivalry by including a Kenny Chesney question with the first answer being worth a painkiller. For example:
What fits Kenny like a glove?
My question is does anyone have suggestions for further themes or does anyone have any suggestions for further inspiration?
Thanks, Rich

That picture idea is so clever!!! You are on a roll already; wishing you and your family a great STJ vacation.

Wow! That's so cool! I don't have any suggestions, what you've already got going is awesome!

I did the same thing with newbies that went with us this year. Every Monday and Friday I emailed them a St John picture. They loved it. One of them commented while we were on vacation that they were really going to miss the weekly pictures.

Since you seem to be photoshop savy, maybe putting a picture of them on some STJ beaches or in pics of restaurants. You could use one of their names and make up St Johnism to go with it.

Do they do facebook? you can send them "gifts" from St. John through the St John gifts application.
Just search for St. John gifts and it is there! (free)
These are fake gifts, just photos of fun things on the island you can send them.
A really brilliant person I know developed the application.

cocosmom: Great idea although I am not really photoshop savy (I just know how to use powerpoint). I will have to try to overlay some. Thanks
djmom: I know they use facebook, but I certainly don't (for a techie person I am very primitive in the actual things I use). Do I have to have an account on face book to use this application?

In addition to sending pictures, you can also send them songs that will get them in the Island Spirit! There is a long list of good suggestions on the Off Topic Forum.

I don't have much to contribute, but that is such a good idea! I might have to bother you for ideas the next trip for my newbies.

yes, you have to have an account. it isn't hard at all to set one up though. you could just put in some basic info and get one.
you might like it BTW. I have reconnected with a lot of old friends. you would be shocked how many "older" people are on there!

Not to worry, I now have the LMG STJ Pre-Screening Process:
1. I put sand in their knickers when they're not looking. If they scream, they're out. If they ask for another margarita, they're in.
2. I plan to meet them at a certain time, but then arrive a half hour late, at the wrong place, and smell suspiciously. If they stay and don't kill me, they're in.
3. While driving with them in the passenger seat, I pretend to stop in the middle of the road to: take photos, move for a water truck, or talk to my friends. If they get irritated, they're out. If they have an unexplainable urge to have a drink in their hand, they're in.
4. I coat myself in several layers of sunscreen and Deep Woods OFF and then rub salt on myself. If they still want to hug me, they're in.
5. Finally, I take them out on a really hot day, give them a fair share of water, beer, and rum, make sure they've gotten some sun, possibly attempt to get them on a rocking boat, make them climb no less than fifteen steep hills in flip-flops and then take them to have a $5 cheeseburger/fish sandwich/salad/slice of pizza that actually costs $12. If they eat it and declare it the best food on Earth, they're in
