How I'm procrastinating until it's time to leave

I so badly want this to be on topic, but it's probably not.

I'm just trying to get through the next 16 days or so, so anything I can do to take my mind off things and fill it with island thoughts is good.

Like drawing pictures:

(It'll take a moment to load.)

It's pretty fun to watch a picture being drawn after the fact. Or maybe I just need to start mixing the painkillers early and stay off the Internet.

Please tell me you find creative ways to pass the time during the final days of your countdown, too?

Hey, I could tell what it was-- that counts.
You have no idea how many times I tried to draw a pirate flag.

Rick- Wouldn't that be funny. I mean, the bank holding my mortgage would take at least a few weeks to find me, right?

Listen LMG-- if I had a dollar for every local who was running from SOMETHING on STJ I'd be a wealthy woman.

I was doing shots lte one night with one of the local Coral Bay boaties and he a laundry list of all the acronym monikered entities he owed money to and/or was hiding from.

For many folks STJ is kind of like living off the grid. I'm sure they'd be glad to get a new neighbor 8)

Thanks! I tried a Corona but the brush was too big to write "Corona" on the bottle! Thus the margarita..
Also, I love your tips! Really good stuff...

Gromit- I think it was one of those conversations that first got me thinking. :)

Bev- Love that. I totally thought that was a 'T' when the drawing started and thought, hmmm, is Bev from Tennessee and I don't know it? Duh. My roots are showing. Both kinds.

lprof- That's great! I think you might win!

Chris- I know, I can't believe it. I feel SO much like I need it, and one of these days I might feel like I deserve it. I'm lucky to be able to go, that's for sure.
