Ever since I saw your post about packing. We are leaving the same day. So now all I can think about is packing and that the trip is almost here!

I am so excited this time for some reason. Extra excited. Now I am pretty much going to be useless early, thanks to you!

How do you think I feel. I'm leaving three days before you girls and I haven't done diddly squat! Now I've got OCD packing on the brain.

EASY...NO sweaters, NO undies, Lots of sunscreen!

I am especially disorganized this time. I leave in nine days.

I got my villa management company to accept a box shipped to them...then flaked and did not get it packed in time to ship.

I only have one bathing suit. I need to buy another, but haven't found any I like.

I have a new camera, and have not even opened the manual to figure out how to work it.

I've not started packing at all, and I need to pack my bags as well as John's, since he is away right up to when we leave.

Don't sweat it! Take the one bathing suit. You don't know anyone so who cares?
Take the manual with you and read it on the plane, at
the villa, or on the beach.
Throw the essentials in a suitcase. Less is more and whatever you forget to pack, buy it there.
Each time we go I find I can do with fewer clothes, etc.
Finally....don't get stressed. Breathe...
And when you get off that ferry it will all be good!

OMG.... now, take a deeeeep breath, then have some wine or Cruzan, what ever is handy! Then, tomorrow, think warm sunshine beating on you & hubby's body, throw up your arm to the sky & repeat these words..."we're on island time, no problem"!!! It will get done, what doesn't...don't worry!! Just remember NO undies!!!

I am not stressed, not even a bit. I just keep telling myself that I'll get to it eventually. I feel like I am on island time and I'm not even there yet.

However, if I get off the ferry with no bags at all because I never got around to packing anything you'll know I took "island time" a little too far.

When we arrived in STX last !/10/09, for 3 months, we had 6, yes S I X pieces of luggage & only 2 wks booked @ Hotel on the Cay thru AFVC. We told everyone, if they saw us sleeping on the beach, not to worry!

We should have thrown out 5, kept one & continued....AS it turned out, we were asked the a couple of places if we were the ones that were going to sleep on the beach, oh that island gossip is soooo quick.

PACK Light!!! and enjoy...sounds like you are already there!! Love it!

I haven't packed either and I leave in 9 days too!
With working and 2 graduations in the next week, and a college orientation, I will be packing the night before.
