May 2009 Trip Report Summary

All in all a very good trip for us. A different kind of trip because we were traveling with others this time but still good. Always good.
Our third trip and first time at JJ's - what were we thinking? A great place to stop by any time of day or night. We will return.
Finally got back to Annaberg and this time remembered my memory card! Yeah!
Many places missed this time. I definitely felt the affects of the week long vs. 10-12 day trips we've done in the past.
Our newbies enjoyed but I don't think they will be back. But we will!

Hello Mary Beth. Thanks so much for your clever report and pics. Sounds like all had a good time - how did your mom do? I hope she enjoyed the island.

MB, I love all our pictures and am so glad you guys had a good trip. Your niece is very pretty, and she's lucky to have such a nice aunt and uncle who share the STJ experience with her. Great reports.

Great photos...as expected; really liked the sights and sunsets, but those happy, smiling faces say it all! I'm glad you had a fun time. Thanks for the pictorial!

Thanks MB - I really enjoyed ALL of the pics. I agree a week is not enough. Our last trip was 10 days and it wasn't long enough! Oh heck, 2 weeks is not long enough either- we are always so sad to go - no matter how long we've stayed.

At least once on island I say screw the "island food" and go to JJ's for chicken fried steak. Sets me right.
Thanks for the pics. You and Charlie are a cute couple, by the way...you look happy together. Thumbs up on that from Marcia and me.

As a NEnglandler, I was very leary, but @ Smuggler's Cove in STX, I said(requested),...please pound the S___t out of it..it was so great, we eat for the next 3 months!!! Of course w/ mashed & gravy & corn* fresh corn bread!!! MMmmmm, I need to eat NOE!!!

Like Pete said, we've come to really appreciate the wonders of JJ's. (I always call it JJ's Texas Toast, not Coast). It's just what you need when you don't want foo-foo. (or is that frooo-froo? you know what I mean.)
You guys looks so in love. And so happy. I really enjoyed your picture report. Nicely done. Very, very nicely done.
