Cptns Travel Day

Well here we are again another fabulous trip under our belts and more great memories created on our little peice of paradise.

I won’t bore everyone with the plane part of travel day. Lets just say it went without a hitch but it was a long one. Lots of connections and 14 hours later we are there, can’t complain free tickets and they got us there unscathed. Oh would like to mention they are checking carryon bags more closely, at least this day.We were on AA. Our one is legal but just barely we saw some people being made to check them.

WOOO HOOO we are at the ferry dock BOO HOO their goes the 6 o’clock ferry to Cruz Bay. Missed her by minutes, she pulled out as we pulled up. Oh well everything happens for a reason and the reason must have been to get this party started. I head up to the new ferry bar and order a couple Presedentes. Honey and I drink those up and I see a sign at the bar 25 cents for a glass of ice. Well my cheap ass starts doing the math as I look over at the liquor store, which just happens to be open, and I’m thinking ten for a bottle of flavored Cruzan and a couple glasses of ice and it’s a cheap date. So I ask the honey what flavor and she decides Pineapple is the Flavor Of The Day and so the party begins. An hour later and a few drinks happier we are on the ferry, cool evening breezes on our faces and the silhouette of St John in our sites.

Off the ferry and onto Woodys, baggage in tow, waiting for our pickup from our partners in crime Andy and Dawn. They had arrived a couple hours earlier so they got to do all the fun little stuff like meet the greeter, pick the jeep up, get some first night groceries and all we had to do is show up. We will have to get there later than them from now on cause that was nice to just sit in front of Woodys drinking pineapple rum from a bottle and just have someone pull up and wisk you to your villa. Kinda felt like someone important for just a second. Wait I am important just not in a famous kinda way. So it’s off to our home for the next 8 days.

Well I’m all pineappled up and feeling frisky. I’m checkin the place out turning the tunes on and ready to party a little. Well Teresa AKA Honey is the type of person that can’t relax until everything is put away. Well she starts asking for help and me being rather pineappled putting things away was not on top of my priority list. Putting groceries away should have been since we bring frozen stuff down. Well she keeps bugging me to help and heres were I do a big NO NO I say you ain’t no princess just hold on for a few . OHH if looks could kill I was a dead man walking. Now in my mind I was joking but it was confirmed by all others it didn’t sound that way. Party over for the Cptn. at least this night. I made up with honey and helped put stuff away like a good little hubby. We sit around and chat a little and before too long hit the sack ready to start another St John adventure

Love it! Can I steal it for my tag line?

Tell you wife I completely understand her pain, my husband gets all Heinekened up and leaves me to settle in. I just feel more relaxed when the stuff is put away....then I hit the wine and get really relaxed.

Exactly what I was picturing. I've seen it in person at my own house, so I know just what it looks like.
