....of our first "walk of shame". Julie and I have just arrived back in Cleveland, where it's a balmy 53 degrees. It's 1AM so I'll be turning in soon, but promise a full, detailed trip report with pics (including our AM wedding at Hawksnest)soon. I kept a bit of a shorthand journal so I could be sure to not miss any details. I can already see the purpose of these trip reports - therapy.

Let's celebrate your marriage, instead of sharing in your woe at having to leave. The old glass is 1/2 full idea? AND.....now you know how beautiful the most beautiful place on Earth is
OK. I'm sorry you had to leave.

I think you meant the "Walk of WOE"

-- the walk of shame is altogether something VERY different and usually occurs at 6 am on a college campus wearing the clothes you had on the night before....

Welcome back!

I'm currently working on the trip report. It's going to be pretty detailed - I hope I don't bore anybody. I hope to include a couple of pictures from each day too. We are in love with the island....possible relocation in the future....we have the skills, means and desire.....

Oh, that's funny! I have a friend who went to St. Croix on a two week vacation when she was younger. She said that she decided on arrival, that she had two weeks to find a job, so she wouldn't have to go home. She did. She stayed several years.

Walk of Woe blues.

After the bum start, I was a bit worried about you. Sounds like you've been bitten hard though. Look forward to your trip report, and especially, your opinion on Valley View.

Valley View was fantastic. Everything you could want in a Villa. Quiet, not too far from town (10 min. drive up Southshore / Fish Bay), pool and all the amenities. I got all the pic's uploaded and started typing the trip report in Word. On the way soon!
