Actually, I do know them. It was my friends, Ellen and John, members of my running/tri club as well as frequent lurkers on this forum. Because they'd given a lot of people a head's up to look at the webcam, they thought "Hi Guys" would be a simple, general message (though I think a few painkillers also influenced that simplicity).
I think pretty much everyone know's what you do on a webcam is, um, EVERYONE'S business, so there's also that.
One other note: Ellen and John are professional photographers when they're not running races or drinking painkillers. Ellen's photography gear gets two bags on its own, which is to say she has some impressive zooming capability, among other things. She's been sending me/our group photos all week, including a few of another "anonymous" photographer/webcam star in some very familiar looking swim trunks. Just saying.

Similar in construction, syntax and meaning to MYOB.

PS How's it hanging, hoosierdaddy?
Been stripper pit snorkeling lately?
In the words of Jim Carey "short and to the left". I have been swimming but not snorkeling. Visibility is not the best. We must be having an alge plume.

While I can't post their photos, I will certainly let them know there's a demand for their work.
