Haven't seen these on island. Doesn't mean they don't exist, but I haven't seen 'em.

Someone had one of those on our recent trip to STT. Thought it would be a great idea. They did say they packed it in their checked bag though.

We have brought those roll up floats that you blow up (looks kind of like a bunch of golf ball sized bubbles when blown up) one year. Carried it around, but hardly used it actually. It was quite small though for packing purposed and just a couple bucks at your local walmart during the summer months. Cheap enough to leave behind and not worry about it.

I haven't seen them for sale on STJ, but we take ours with us every year. I got them years ago at a specialty store but now they sell them at Wal-Mart for around $17. I love them because they are flat and easy to pack in a suitcase and since only the edges blow up it doesn't take much work to inflate them.

One might fit diagonally. I can try it and get back to you.

I saw them at Kmart on St.Thomas when we were there in April.... but of course they were out of pool noodles all week, so they might or might not be there.

I tried and they don't fit in a standard carry-on rolling suitcase. This reminds me though that friends of ours carried them on in addition to their regular carry-ons last year. They are small enough to fit on top of your carry-on in the overhead bin.
