Hooray the Easter Bunny comes today. As usual we are up by 6:30, so I head out & start hiding the Easter bags that I had made up for the 4 girls & the 2 boyfriends. I must admit it was fun, we used to do this for our boys when they were little & now with them grown up & one a dad we miss it. Just got the bags hidden & Ondrea is up & all excited, she wants to wake up her sisters. So off she goes, to wake them all up, this cheery awaking was not appreciated by all her siblings. The custom in this house is that all the eggs collected are put in a basket & then they are divided up equally between all the girls. With all the eggs collected it was time for breakfast & get ready for church.

We all walked to church, it was a lovely morning & a very nice walk & an enjoyable service. After church Donna’s family was coming for Easter Brunch., it was also Sophie’s Birthday today. It was nice to see her parents & sister again; we had met them about 23 years ago. Had a lovely Easter brunch. Rest of the day relaxing & eating Easter treat.
Just before the sun sets is the best time to see kangaroos, we drove out to where Tom works which is about a 10 minute drive. It was amazing tonight, we had to have seen 40 of them, and they were on the move tonight, hopping a 4ft fence with such ease. Also saw a camel on the way back.

With Easter Monday comes the annual Easter Parade. This parade is all about the people especially the Chinese as there is a large influence in Bendigo due to them working in the Gold Mining. It was a nice parade. The main attraction is the Chinese dragons; they are beautiful, so colourful. They have the longest dragon outside of China.

Later, we drove out to a Reservoir, it is so sad to see how dry it is. Literally not a drop of water, checked out another Poppet, then off for our nightly Kangaroo hunt, we were not disappointed.
