I will be visiting the Virgin Islands for the 1st time this Fall. I am giong to be giong there to dive and was looking to stay at either Tortola or St. Croix. If anyone out there has any suggestions and/or pro & cons as to what island, dive operator and resort/hotel it would be greatl appreciated. Additionally, would September or October be best as far as typical weather patterns. Lastly, if staying at St. Croix is island hoping to Tortola and Virgin Gorda feasible?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I know nothing about scuba diving so I might not be of any help...but if you want to see Tortola or Virgin Gorda....stay on St. john...much easier to get to the other islands from there. I have never been in Sept. or Oct....perhaps it might be a bit rainier? Dunno

Hi Tim, welcome to the forum!
I'm not a diver, but there are many here on this forum, so stick around and you'll get the answers you're looking for.
I know for one thing that people speak highly of the diving at Buck Island, St. Croix, so you might want to Google that.

A couple of other suggestions re diving on St. Croix: Diving The Wall at Cane Bay and the night dive at the Frederiksted Pier.
