Favorite Villa for Two?

We are hopefully planning a trip for our anniversary this fall and would like a nice villa with two bedrooms - larger is okay if the price is right! We have always stayed in Coral Bay but would consider a location elsewhere as long as it wasn't in too congested of an area. We would love to have a pool and great views are required! Any suggestions?

You'll get more suggestions if you post your desired price range.

Miles Away. A 2 bdrm but would be fantastic for a couple. Point Rendezvous is a quiet area but a short 10 min drive to Cruz Bay for dinner

Check out Luna Vista (mylunavista.com). They have a 2 br 1 bath villa. The pool is small, but we don't go to STJ for the pools. I posted shots of the view in my reports last year. PM me if you want additional info.

I am also looking for 2BR villas, on the Cruz Bay side, for late January. Am looking at Bongo Bongo, Miles Away, Sea Stone (would need to adjust our dates). Larger houses with comparable rates we are considering are Leeward, Villa Anansi, Le Virage. Might give you some ideas, but also if anyone else has comments on any of these houses I would love to hear them! Arc du Soleil looks nice but its fully booked for our dates.

You might look at "Monkey No Climb" which looks down on Coral Bay. Under $2,000 in the summer. No pool but there is a spa on a 46'x 12' covered porch with big views. High elevation with end of the road privacy/quiet and many trees on un-built upon lots bordering the property.

Not under $2000.00, but ditto on Miles Away- we just returned May 3 from a great week there. Fabulous villa!
Highlights of Miles Away for us:
-Pool sunny all day until late afternoon. The sun warmed the pool into the low to mid 80's.
-Very nicely furnished, equipped, and decorated - beds have extremely comfortable Tempur-Pedic mattresses
-Very quiet and private location overlooking Fish Bay at the end of paved street. (Pelican Rd.)
-Easy 10 min drive to Cruz Bay.
-Comfy patio furniture to enjoy the great outdoors.
-Sammy 40-42" LCD TV with digital cable (lots of channels) and DVD player (not that we watched much TV)

have you stayed there? I have always loved the look of this place. I love the sliding door to the BR area. Is this the one that is owned by someone's parents who posts here? Cute!

We just stayed at Perelandra. It's a two bedroom (one upstairs & one down) with a pool and we LOVED it!! It's got everything you could possibly need to be confortable, a great view, and it's close to town (Cruz Bay). We will definetly stay their again.
XOXO

Since its just the two of you I'll suggest a 1BR.
We just stayed at St John Livin (sits beside/above Is Dreams) for our 20th Anniv. This is one sweet villa with hot tub, pool, killer views, Coral Bay vibe and it fits your budget.
See my review just posted here.

My husband and I stayed at Sea Stone and Le Virage and liked them both.
As you know, Sea Stone is on the tip of Maria Bluff with in-your-face water views, but the villa is facing south, so it has no view of the twinkling lights of St. Thomas. Since it was just the two of us, we only used the main house. I think the house itself is probably my favorite of the villas where we've stayed so far. The only thing that I didn't care for was the close proximity to the neighboring villas. If allowed to be picky, I would say that I'd rather have a totally private pool deck and a more conventionally shaped pool than the very narrow one at Sea Stone. That being said, I believe this villa is very popular and I can see why!
Le Virage is very nice also. The pool deck is quite private - only the folks with binoculars on the other side of Fish Bay may be able to see you. I wouldn't say the villa gets constant breezes - at least when we were there, we were getting inconsistent breezes, but I don't recall feeling uncomfortably hot.
If you have specific questions, let me know.

MB we are staying there for our Nov/Dec trip I am pleased to say! Can't wait...and yes, it is owned by PSUWethr's parents, and she may even be there now or soon. We booked thru Bookit VI and all has gone very smoothly. I understand Island livin' is a sister property.
I was glad to see such a nice review by Cleveland Dave about Island Livin' recently. It just reinforced what I was thinking.
As for the OP, I thot she was looking for a 2 bedroom?
