USVI-On-Line

This will not compare to the Boating adventure, but I need to get it all out and over with.

Our last full day:
Both Chip and I decided that we wanted to camp out at Gibney. We stop at Starfish for a wrap and some snacks and get there early. There is one other couple setting up so we head all the way to the left and set up camp. We just sit and read, soak for a bit, and sit and read some more. The waves were rolling and they interrupted my reading a time or two



We leave the beach after hours of just relaxing and head up to Bordeaux to spend some time with my friend Sharon (Angry Boob) We just sat on the deck and chatted for a few hours. It was so nice to spend some time with her. Despite battling cancer and dealing with all the crap that goes along with Chemo, she is still one of the funniest people I know and is filled with more p!ss and vinegar(as my grandmother used to say) to let this get her.

We stopped in town for some shopping and drinking, I think. It is really hard to remember. I know that we stopped at Starfish and picked up some chicken kebobs and went home to enjoy a quiet dinner with J&L. We did most of our packing and I fell asleep on the couch at 8:15 while the others sat on the deck and stared at the stars.

DeeDee, That "piss and vinegar" is what's going to see her through this. My 34 year old friend has breast cancer. She had a mastectomy and today she went for measurements for her "FBoob". She posted this on Facebook. I said, "Does that mean f****n' awesome boob?" And she said, "It meant Fake Boob but I love your definition!" I hope your friend is doing ok.
It might not compare to "the boating adventure" in some's eyes but you guys had a great time and thanks for taking me and everyone else along on the ride! I'm so glad you had a great trip and I loved reading about it!
